Presidential Ambassadors
2007-2008 Presidential Ambassadors
History
In spring of 2006, 11 CSU students were chosen as the school’s first Presidential Ambassadors. The students were selected to participate based on their demonstrated leadership experience and potential. The Presidential Ambassadors have since been trained in professional etiquette, networking, public relations, event planning and experience design.
The Presidential Ambassadors have represented students and the University at such events as the 1870 Recognition Dinner, the Monfort Lecture, the Denver Executive Luncheon and the CU v. CSU football game. Presidential Ambassadors also served as hosts for the 2006 Gubernatorial Debate in Denver, co-sponsored by CSU, CO Biz Mag and 9 News, and at numerous other campus events.
The Presidential Ambassadors have developed philanthropic initiatives to promote the concept of students helping students and the importance of giving back to the communities to which they belong.
