Jim Abraham currently serves as the Vice Chair of the CSU Classified Personnel Council and has been a member of the Council for the past 4 years. A 22 year employee working in the Dept. of Environmental Health Services, Jim serves as the Radiation Safety Officer in the Radiation Control Office. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1994, and a Master’s degree in Radiological Health Sciences from CSU in 1997. In his capacity working in environmental health and safety, he has worked closely with the police department for the past 10 years and understands police protocols and procedures regarding some of our sensitive research areas. He has been involved in training police officers and firefighters in radiation safety, and brings years of experience working with officers during large training exercises.
