Interim Provost & Executive Vice President

As Interim Provost and Executive Vice President, Lise Youngblade oversees the integrity and success of the institution’s academic enterprise. She began serving in the interim role in January 2026. In this capacity, she provides leadership for the deans of all eight academic colleges, the Libraries, and Graduate School, and for the offices of the Vice President for Research and the Vice President for Student Affairs. She also heads the Office of the Chair of the Faculty Council and a broad scope of vice provost reporting areas and student and faculty success initiatives.

Youngblade joined Colorado State in 2006 from the University of Florida to lead the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. In 2019, she became Dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences after previously serving as the College’s Associate Dean for Research and Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives.

She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, and her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon.
